Crossbreeding, it’s subject to controversy.
Many dog owners believe that cross breeds are impure, and simply represent a science experiment gone wrong. However, in contrast, many dog owners think the exact opposite and believe that crossbred dogs add the best aspects of dog breeds to add stamina and strength to the breed created.
What is crossbreeding?
Crossbreeding is the process used to breed two separate breeds of dogs together. For example, a Cavalier and Poodle – this dog breed is made up of the combination of a King Charles Cavalier and a toy poodle. As a result, it provides owners with the hypoallergenic properties of a poodle and the laid-back personality of a Cavalier.
Crossbred dogs can have controversial negative effects on their healthspan.
